This classroom course will educate producers on Trusts that can be designed into flexible vehicles for managing and transferring wealth, while at the same time help protect wealth to beneficiaries’ who may have shortcomings and/or creditors issues. Building flexibility into a trust is a key element in designing a trust that best meets the grantor's intent, as well as, providing levels of protection. With a trust that contains provisions for discretionary distributions, a trustee can decide whether to distribute to a beneficiary or determine when in the appropriate time or amount for distribution. In short, you can create a well-crafted trust that gives the trustee the flexibility to adapt to a beneficiary(s) changing circumstances.
